DIY Cider Press

I am using this page to consolidate my posts on the cider press I made mostly from bits and pieces I had laying around.  Please feel free to follow the links (top to bottom is chronological order) to see how it progressed.
i like the simple,yet effective design of your press. i might try again.. i made one with a screw and slighly elevated my bottom platform,,,,it didn’t work well….i had thoug of using the same stainless container from big lots but was unsure how many holes to drill..thanks alot for the pics…..i have several tests going on hard cider,ciderkin, ciderwine.
