I mentioned awhile back that we were having some foundation repair work done this summer. Â The day has arrived! Â A couple of folks showed up first thing this morning…well, first thing for a banker. Â Anyhow, they are here and have made a huge mess of my yard! Â I am so excited. Â I figure they surely must work like I do on home improvements …once I become comitted to the job (i.e. make a huge mess), I see things through. Â I figure digging gigantic holes under my house makes them committed. Â There really isn’t too much to say yet so I will just share a few pictures and see what happens next!
OH, I find home improvement projects that I’m not in charge of a little annoying. I think I just like to be in charge of it, and I like doing things to my perfect standards (which most people don’t hold standards as high as mine).
It is nice though to not really have to worry about it. We just got our basement finished and it only took the professionals 5 days, it would have taken us several weeks or a month.

Yikes! I’d be a little worried. I’m glad it’s your house and not mine. How long will it take to complete the job? How long will it take to get the yard back in shape? How are the bees?
