I find that you need to mix the pumpkin and cake mix for about 2 minutes to get it really well combined. We use the devil's food mix because you cannot taste the pumpkin. However, one time we used the cinnamon swirl cake mix. You could taste the pumpkin with it and it tasted just like PUMPKIN PIE - YUMMM!!!!
