My holes are pretty small...I forget but maybe 1/8". I was worried about pressure blowing it out but I think that isn't an issue at all. You *can* make cider from a juicer but why not make something 10 times as big?! Just kidding. I had this funny need to make a typical-ish sort of press but it is definitely not the only way to make cider. A juicer is a great idea...you just need to filter more! Christy – bigger is better!
